About Jeremy

Jeremy’s Journeys is a reflection of how I experience the world, through movement, observation, and the moments that tend to happen in between the main attractions.

I travel often, most frequently by cruise, which shapes how I explore. My time in each place is usually limited, so I focus on what’s accessible, walkable, and immediately present rather than trying to see everything. Some days that means wandering through a city with no plan, other days it means figuring out how to get somewhere I’ve always wanted to see, like Stonehenge or a glacier field, within the constraints of a port stop.

Over time, I’ve traveled across more than 60 countries, from the fjords of Norway and the Panama Canal to cities throughout Europe, Asia, and the South Pacific. What stays with me isn’t just the landmarks, but the rhythm of a place, how people move through it, how it feels to be there for a few hours or a full day.

I’m drawn to everyday experiences as much as the well-known ones. A harbor walk, a local market, a quiet stretch of coastline, these tend to tell me more about a place than a checklist ever could. Not everything goes perfectly, and that’s part of it too. Travel, for me, isn’t about ideal conditions, it’s about showing up and seeing what unfolds.

Jeremy’s Journeys is where I document those experiences as they happen, using my own photos and notes to capture each place as I actually encountered it.
